Tactical Rules
Here are some of the basic Safety rules that apply to the Tactical/Sniper events.

1. NO loaded weapons anywhere except on the firing line At each shooting stage there will be a table designated for all long guns to be staged on. These will be left there until it is time for that weapon to be used in the competition.

2. Anyone caught with a loaded weapon except on the firing line will be Disqualified  immediately with out a refund of entry fee.

3. All Weapons must be in a safe Operable condition.

4. All Weapons will be carried in either a muzzle up or muzzle down method except when they are engaging targets and moving from one station to another and they must keep the weapon pointed down range toward the target. Shooters MUST maintain the 180 rule.

5. All Shooters will stay together, no running back to your car to get more ammo unless the RO in informed and there are no other courses that you will need to enter to get to your vehicle. Anyone violating this can be disqualified, so make sure you carry enough ammo/supplies with you when you start.

6. In the event of a  Ms-fire, FTF, or other mechanical problem the shooter will have a one minute period to correct the problem or they will be asked by the RO to make the weapon safe and return to a safe area to work on the problem. If they can correct the problem before the other shooters complete the course, they may be allowed to engage the course again starting from the spot the problem occurred.

7. All shooters/spectators will maintain a SAFE range at all times or be subject to be disqualified and or asked to leave the range.

8. Anyone violating any of these rules may be subject to disqualification
Basic rules/scoring for our multi-gun events
Tactical Carbine / Handgun and or shotgun : Limited Class,
Sometimes there is also a novice class for the first timers but the same basic rules apply

These will be a best time event.

Most stages will have a 3 to 4 min. stop time.
The HG (handgun) trail will usually have a 1 minute limit to engage 20 targets with 1 mandatory mag change but unlimited rounds needed to engage targets successfully.

Shooters will be divided into at least 2 squads. so that we can keep the wait time to a minimum.

Scoring :
• Base time = actual time to complete the stage.

Penalties :
• FTN = ( failure to neutralize ) +15 seconds per target not hit. Shooter must make a minimum of 3 shots at any target before the shooter can decline a target and continue the stage.
• FTE = ( failure to engage ) +30 seconds per target not engaged. i.e. shooter passed by a target, ran out of ammo, or weapon failure.
• Hostage or friendly targets on a stage that are hit will incur a +60 second penalty.

Stage score will be the shooters base time & penalties / bonuses  combined.

Tie scores will be awarded to the shooter who expended the least amount of rounds.

These are truly a shoot em-up and fast paced events that prove to be a challenge and fun
